CYBERCRIME 

DRAFT OF SPECIALIZATION

Students will become familiar with the legal and institutional solutions to cybercrime and acquire knowledge and skills in combating and preventing crime in cyberspace.

They will become acquainted with issues of criminal responsibility related to crimes and offences committed on the network and selected types of offences relating to data, computers and the Internet, i.e.: offences against confidentiality, integrity and availability of computer data and systems covering, inter alia: illegal access, illegal interception of data, violation of system integrity and computer crimes covering forgery and computer fraud. In addition, they will gain knowledge of offences related to copyright and related rights infringement and acts prohibited by the nature of the information contained, including: offences related to child pornography and dissemination of material with racist and xenophobic content. As part of the specialisation, they will acquire skills in the use of selected methods, techniques and tools for the detection of internet crime.

CAREER PROSPECTS

Graduates can take up jobs in theCentral Anticorruption Bureau , The Internal Security Agency, Police, public administration and tax offices, security and detective companies.
