Ceremony of burying the Time Capsule

Radom Academy of Economics is celebrating its 25th anniversary, on this occasion a Time Capsule burial ceremony took place on December 1st, 2023.

On the solemn day of December 1st, 2023, Radom Academy of Economics, in the memory of future generations, taking into account the continuous development of the University and the good of the academic community, in the presence of: the Founders, the Chancellor, the Rector, Deans, Employees and Guests, laid a symbolic act aimed at commemoration of this special anniversary. The Academy, being not only a place of learning, but also a community committed to the development of the academic community, decided to create a time capsule, the content of which was to be a message for future generations.

The interior of the capsule contained numerous symbols related to the history of the university. In addition to the official anniversary document at the heart of the act, a variety of items symbolizing the spirit of the Academy were added to the capsule. A pin with a logo, issue no. 87 of the university’s “Gazeta Radomska”, granting the status of the Academy by the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science, a pen with the university’s logo, a Polish coin, and a memory card with a photo report on the life of the academic community.
The opening of the capsule is planned for a date in the distant future, in the hope that the next 25th anniversary of the university will be an equally solemn event. The authorities of Radom Academy of Economics expressed hope that the contents of the capsule will become an inspiration for future generations, showing how the world is changing and the important role the development of education plays in shaping the future of society.
This unique event was not only a celebration of the university itself, but also a moment of reflection on the past, present and future of Radom Academy of Economics. With the laying of the jubilee act, the university writes its history on the pages of time, leaving a legacy for future generations.
