International Open Lectures

On May 9th, 2023, the Radom Academy of Economics had the honor to host two professors who work at Igdir University in Turkey: Dr. Ahmet Ates and Dr. Murat Eren. The lecture was attended by students of psychology and criminology.

The topics of the meetings were varied, primarily we talked about economic indicators, i.e. statistics that enable the analysis and forecast of future economic results. The topic of the financial crisis of 2008 was discussed, which was initiated by the collapse of high-risk mortgage loans in the United States.

The topic of changes taking place in intelligence organizations was also discussed. Dr. Ahmet Ates presented his theory why such changes occur at all and what their effects are, referring to the current situation beyond the eastern border and to past events, e.g. the attack on the World Trade Center. The doctor used his doctoral thesis as source material, which he wrote and defended while in the United States.
