SOCIAL PREVENTION AND RESOCIATION
DRAFT OF SPECIALIZATION
The aim of the studies is to prepare for work in re-socialisation institutions, work with juvenile and adult offenders, dysfunctional families, addicted and maladjusted persons and socially excluded persons. The student will acquire abilities to diagnose phenomena of social pathology, he/she will learn methods, techniques and means of social intervention and tools for realization of preventive-preventive environmental programmes. He/she will receive preparation for direct work in the environments requiring pedagogical support (street pedagogues, probation officers). It will get acquainted with the principles of pedagogical guidance and legal solutions in the field of re-socialisation. They will acquire skills to establish, organise and maintain international cooperation in the field of social prevention and re-socialisation.

CAREER PROSPECTS
Graduates will be prepared to work in special education and upbringing centres, therapy centres and counselling centres for addicts, social and pedagogical assistance centres, re-socialisation services (penal institutions, correctional institutions, shelters for minors), care facilities, district and municipal family assistance centres, institutions of intervention nature (police, municipal guards, crisis intervention centres, police children’s homes), as well as in the judiciary, in the capacity of tutor, counsellor, probation officer or court mediator. Appropriate pedagogical, psychological and sociological preparation will enable you to work in governmental, non-governmental and self-governmental institutions dealing with social prevention and re-socialisation.
