Small gestures – great deeds or volunteering for the 21st century – Scientific Conference

The Radom Academy of Economics, Student Volunteering Organization and Caritas of the Diocese of Radom invite you to participate in the 10th National Scientific Conference on SMALL GESTURES – BIG ACTIVITIES, OR VOLUNTEERING FOR THE 21st CENTURY under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Education and Radio Science and the Mayor of the City.

The event will be held on May 20-21, 2022 at the Radom Academy of Economics at Traugutta 61A.

The aim of the conference is:

-Organization of a platform for the exchange of views and examples of good practice: psychological, pedagogical, formative, legal, economic, ecological in the field of local, national and global volunteering. -Discussion on the economic, psychological, legal and environmental aspects and effects of voluntary activities.

-To make the debate nationwide, to enable the exchange of experiences on contemporary trends in volunteering and the effects of volunteers’ work.

In line with the title of the Conference, we propose the following thematic areas:

-Volunteering – examples of good local and world practices.

-Caritas’ voluntary and economic activity.

-Volunteering and the social economy.

-Ecological volunteering.
